Reviews
As a person patrizing any establishment of any kind any where I was insulted with the unprofessionalism of the first employee taking my order than running to the back and not submitting h my order. Secondly, another employee comes and retakes my order to only get it completely wrong. The set up was very nice and was familiar to me so atmosphere wasn't bad until the employees displayed unprofessionalism acting a bit funny. The wait was not too long had my order been correct and fresh.I asked for pounded yam which is closer to white in color it was it was mixed with something .How did they not know I had no food allergies and I asked for my swallow to be pounded yam with my egusi soup with mixed meat.I also got extra dry week old looking fried chicken inwhich never has my egusi been prepared like that here in America or back homeland.Lets not forget my spinach or leaf soup that had none in it but plenty hard meat from maybe 2 days ago or more. Those plantains were so dry ofcoarse pics are on this review.I always do review good or bad so that is why I started taking pics in the beginning never to regret coming in that awful place
Its just wrong to treat people so unwelcoming and they come to your place. If I could give a -100 o trust me I would. Not sure who the owner was but he needs new staff and cook. There was one short nice finegal with a pink glittery hat she needs to be training the others on their people skills and customer service.I did not pay my friend paid as he said he didn't want to look bad if any one any how any where will b an embarrassment it has to be the owner .Yes I am west African 🇹🇬 to be exact and I think with the treatment alone I will never go in places like this very beneath me.
This location has now moved into 2009 E Dublin Granville Road. I ordered jollof rice and chicken and it wasn’t pleasant. The rice and chicken was not fresh I spent $17.51 regretted my decision to buy food from here. Originally when I buy food from Sermat it usually didn’t disappoint but yesterday I don’t know what food that was. Please if you are looking at this please give your customers decent food and fresh.
Sermat restaurant use to be good (Bush Blvd) and delicious food this new place today I got fufu and peanut soup I was charged extra ginger when I went home it was not in my order. I hope you fix your service next time
This place is now called The Dish and is on Dublin-Granville Road. I have been a patron of this restaurant for over a year and I love their peanut butter soup. I highly recommend this restaurant. They are very friendly and they have excellent food.
Walked in to order and immediately customer service was horrible , the lady at the register was rude and stale , gave us a menu and told us to ring the bell when ready and walked away. After we placed our order she takes payment immediately and tells us 15 min , end up waiting over half an hour . Get home to find a piece of hair in my food . I take it back and they went back and forth about what it was and how it wasn’t hair (which looked like a piece of weave) .Eventually refunded me . No one I was with enjoyed they’re food , cassava was greasy , no meat , the goat was tuff . Would not recommend
Left because I waited and hr and still received my food I wanted to take back home to chicago and I couldn’t get extra fufu or they didn’t have any goat soup
I ordered chicken tails with jollof rice ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ I will be back in the near future🌌‼️ Definitely a great atmosphere & very friendly people‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
I honestly don’t know where to begin; second to none, close to home feeling, feels like I’m eating in my mama’s kitchen. Friendly and professional service, busy at all times, Patience is required due to high demand levels. Amazing food and music, clean and comfortable surroundings. Go for lunch and/or dinner with friends and loved ones, trust me it’s so worth it.
More to say but will end it here.
